Community Harmony and Collaborations Sets the Tone at the 2026 Reorganization Meeting

Family, friends, residents and special guests gathered last evening for the 2026 Reorganization Meeting. Ras Baraka, the Mayor of Newark, NJ, administered the oath of office to Councilman Nathaniel Anderson. Willingboro's own and the Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson administered the oath of office to Councilwoman Rebecca Perrone. She was also on hand to administer the oath of office to Samantha Whitfield, and Dr. Tiffani Worthy who were chosen to serve as Mayor and Deputy Mayor respectively, for another year.

After receiving the oath of office, Mayor Whitfield addressed the audience and promised to continue to listen and to lead and advised of her commitment to focus on finalizing the Master Plan, complete the Performing Arts Center and wrap up improvements at Mill Creek Park. She encouraged residents to be a part of the harmony that resonates in Willingboro, reminding the audience that "everyone carries a note in the sound of Willingboro"! In the words of our newly selected Deputy Mayor, Dr. Tiffani Worthy - let us move forward in love, pride and purpose!
