During the Council meeting on April 21st, the Council passed a resolution awarding a contract to Interstate Waste Services for waste collection services in Willingboro Township, effective June 1, 2026.

Highlights of the contract include the following:

-Trash collections will run from 5 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday

-Most of the trash collection schedules will remain the same with the exception of the following- ALL Tuesday collections will move to Wednesday. (There will no longer be any collections on Tuesdays).

-Garfield East will move to Fridays.

-Bulk pick up will occur on the same day as your trash collection day. Appointments will no longer be required for bulk pick-up.

-Second carts will be available on a first come first serve basis at a cost of $75 per cart. (Additional fees may be applicable.) Priority will be given to those currently on the wait list.
