WILLINGBORO, NJ — The Township of Willingboro is proud to invite residents and community members to celebrate the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated track on Wednesday, May 20th at 5:30 p.m.
The special community event will take place at the Kennedy Center track, located at 429 John F. Kennedy Way, Willingboro, NJ, and will commemorate an exciting milestone for the Township and its residents.
The ceremony will feature remarks from Township Council members and community leaders, followed by an opportunity for attendees to participate in “A Stroll Around the Track with Mayor Whitfield” immediately following the ribbon cutting.
The renovated track and field represents the Township’s continued commitment to enhancing recreational spaces, promoting health and wellness, and creating opportunities for residents of all ages to gather, exercise, and engage with the community.
“We are excited to celebrate the reopening of this beautiful, renovated track with our residents,” said Samantha E. Whitfield, the Township Mayor. “The track will serve as a space for fitness, recreation, and community connection for years to come. We are also excited to provide this new space for our new introductory track club that kicked off earlier this month. We invite everyone to join us for this special occasion.”
